Analysis Paralysis
This post is going to be really short. I'll elaborate later if the spirit moves me, however, I just wanted to drop a little insight to some of us who get stuck in the merry go round of "Analysis Paralysis". Life is short. Make a good decision and stick to it. There are goods and bads to everything, however the only thing that's going to automatically count you out of the game is not making any moves. There are risks to everything in life. It's important for one to decide on something and stick to it. Otherwise you find that you've spent you whole life looking at the possible down sides of different ventures you're trying to get into, as opposed to the good sides. It's not the idea that counts, it's the sticktuitiveness of it.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step - a step no doubt filled with hesitation from self-doubt and fear of the unknown. A lot of us get stuck in that fear - frozen in time, content with living with the known than face the unknown. "Analysis paralysis" - is good term to describe that event.
I personally, have begun projects that i was way to timid to continue and some, my trepidations just kept me from embarking on. But as i grow, i learn - there comes a time in our lives as we begin to take over the system of this world that i look to John Africa (of MOVE) for inspiration - "if i do not fight, i die and if i fight i die - so i choose to fight".
May our dreams spur us to greater heights.

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." But like you said Bola, "life is short" so why should we waste time traveling in the wrong direction? The answer I've found in a book I've read recently, "A Short Guide to a Happy Life", is that we have to learn to love the journey. Even if we should end up in some God forsaken place, at least we had fun going there, and perhaps built some strength of character in doing so. In turn our future journeys will be easier and more direct.
